Creative Placemaking: A Conversation with Rip Rapson and Jamie Bennett

Art and creativity can play a vital role in shaping communities socially, economically, and politically. This conversation between Jamie Bennett, executive director of ArtPlace America, and Rip Rapson, President and CEO of the Kresge Foundation, focuses on the role that foundations play in nurturing existing creative centers and generating opportunities for artists to develop distinctive communities. The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center presented “Creative Placemaking: A Conversation with Rip Rapson and Jamie Bennett” on May 8, 2014.
